United Nations security council is responsible for the death of Palestinians

The United Nations security council is not alone responsible for the destroying bombings with uranium weapons of Libya.  It is also responsible for the Palestinians killed by Israeli settlers…

On November 15, 2010, U.S. President Barack Obama praised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for urging his cabinet to accept a U.S. proposal to extend a freeze on West Bank settlement building for 90 days.
Under the plan, Washington would block UN resolutions critical of Israel, and supply Israel with fighter jets worth $3 billion. The US government also promisedIsrael that after the 90-day moratorium, they would not seek an extension, and settlement construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem (all of which is illegal under international law) could continue unabated.

In February 2011, more than 100 nations voted for a U.N. resolution that would have condemned illegal Israeli settlements and halted any new construction. The United States vetoed it.

On February 19, 2011, Israel said it was deeply grateful to the United States after it vetoed a United Nations resolution put forward by the Palestinian leadership condemning Israeli settlement activity.

Hamas: UN responsible for oppression, displacement of Palestinians

    20/06/2011

DAMASCUS – The refugees department in Hamas movement held the UN responsible for the oppression and displacement that befell the Palestinian people.

It said in a statement on the occasion of the international refugees day on Monday that the UN was responsible first and foremost for endorsing the partitioning of Palestine and then recognizing Israel, which was established on aggression, and finally remaining silent vis-à-vis the oppression befalling the Palestinians for the past 63 years.

The UN did not offer enough assistance to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian refugees, who were displaced thanks to the UN resolutions, and even reduced its services to them despite their growing numbers, the statement said.

It pointed out that a number of countries were involved in doubling the suffering of the Palestinian people by participating one way or another in imposing siege on the Gaza Strip and blocking the arrival of relief material to the coastal enclave.

The statement, in this regard, urged the Lebanese government to swiftly improve the conditions of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon by facilitating work, travel, residence, and construction for them in addition to expediting the return of refugees to Nahr El-Bared refugee camp.

The statement finally asked the Palestinian refugees to stick to their demands of return and compensation and organize rallies year-round and not to be content with Nakba nad Naksa days only.
